Product Validation Owner (Automotive)

What you will do

• Build and manage Analysis, Development and Validation (ADV) plans for exterior lighting, bumper fascia, and trim.
• Conduct feature and system regulatory testing (e.g., FMVSS108, ECE R48/GB4785).
• Review and resolve product issues, prioritizing safety-related concerns according to GM standards.
• Utilize serial data logging tools (CAN/Ethernet/LIN) to assess evaluation results.
• Develop hardware usage estimates and budgets for validation programs.
• Lead issue resolution and communicate status to engineering and validation leadership teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
• 3+ years of related validation experience (excluding internships).
• Valid US Driver’s License and ability to legally operate a motor vehicle.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Project).
• No immigration sponsorship available; must have existing US work authorization.

Nice to have

• Master’s Degree in Engineering.
• 5+ years of professional experience in Interior/Exterior validation.
• Knowledge of Global Vehicle Development Process.
• Experience with Atlassian Jira, Power BI, and basic knowledge of AI.
