Company

hirify.global is a startup developing scalable power electronics, including converters, inverters, and rectifiers for renewables, energy storage, electrical loads, and grid electrification.

What you will do

  • Define functional test coverage, regression strategies, architectures, and pass/fail criteria for PCBAs, subsystems, and complete systems.
  • Design and deliver automated bidirectional AC/DC and DC/DC converter testers with source and sink operation.
  • Architect high-power test cells integrating sources, regenerative loads, grid simulators, high-voltage measurement chains, contactors, protection systems, interlocks, grounding, and safe operating procedures.
  • Build PCBA fixtures, harness and connector validation fixtures, interface racks, and fault-injection rigs.
  • Integrate instrumentation including power supplies, electronic loads, DAQs, DMMs, oscilloscopes, power analyzers, digital interfaces, and sensors.
  • Own station deployment and sustainment, debugging, calibration, software releases, uptime, yield improvement, and continuous improvement with engineering and manufacturing.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience designing and delivering automated test setups for high-voltage or high-power systems.
  • Strong fundamentals in circuits and instrumentation, with hands-on experience using scopes, DMMs, power supplies, electronic loads, DAQs, and digital interfaces such as CAN, Ethernet, SPI, I2C, and UART.
  • Ownership of test systems from concept through deployment and sustainment, with the ability to drive cross-functional issues to closure.
  • Experience with bidirectional power sources, regenerative loads, HIL or embedded firmware validation, PCBA manufacturing functional testing, and yield improvement.
  • Familiarity with production traceability, calibration discipline, and testing medium-voltage or high-power converter products.

Nice to have

  • Experience developing high-power converter test systems spanning engineering validation, hardware-in-the-loop, end-of-line testing, and production.

Culture & Benefits

  • Collaborative environment focused on personal, technical, and career growth.
  • First-principles engineering with hands-on execution and learning by doing.
  • Competitive compensation including salary and equity.
  • Benefits package provided.
