Accounts Receivable Specialist

What you will do

• Prepare and submit AIA G702/G703 progress billings, manage continuation sheets and schedule of values
• Track and bill retainage, incorporate change orders into billing schedules
• Generate invoices, monitor aging reports, manage collections and payment follow-ups
• Resolve billing discrepancies and communicate with project managers and clients
• Track lien waivers and documentation, ensure compliance before invoicing
• Partner with operations on project budgets vs. billings, WIP reporting, and cash flow forecasting

Requirements

• 3+ years of Accounts Receivable experience within the construction industry
• Direct experience with AIA progress billing (G702/G703 forms)
• Strong understanding of retainage and change orders
• Experience managing collections professionally
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Nice to have

• Experience with ERP/accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Viewpoint)
• Experience with public sector or bonded project billing
• Strong Excel proficiency
