What you will do

• Provide senior technical expertise for solar string and storage inverter systems across North America.
• Design PV systems and propose technical solutions based on customer and utility interconnection requirements.
• Serve as a technical liaison between the US sales organization and SMA technical teams in Germany.
• Develop and deliver technical training materials and sessions for internal and external audiences.
• Conduct competitor and market analysis to improve product positioning and technical differentiation.
• Support the sales organization through technical evaluations and direct customer engagements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or equivalent industry experience.
• 5 to 10 years of experience in technical sales, engineering, or service roles.
• Hands-on experience with solar PV systems, string inverters, or energy storage systems.
• In-depth knowledge of power electronics and U.S. energy standards and codes.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.

• Proficiency in German or Spanish languages.
