What you will do

• Lead safety projects for energy storage systems and lithium-ion/semiconductor manufacturing.
• Provide training, mentoring, and guidance on tools and methods for internal staff.
• Review thermal runaway test reports (e.g., UL 9540A) to design facility safety concepts and mitigation systems.
• Drive business development efforts with existing and new clients.
• Collaborate with management to execute strategic growth plans.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, safety management, or a related field.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in industrial and process safety.
• Must be based in or able to work from Anaheim, San Diego, or Los Angeles offices.
• High-level written and oral communication skills for client interfacing and report writing.
• Knowledge of energy storage safety (e.g., NFPA 855) or risk assessment methodologies.

Nice to have

• Professional Engineer (P.E.) or Certified Safety Professional (CSP) certification.
• Experience with consequence modeling tools (CFD, FEA, fire & smoke modeling, plume modeling).
