$110,000 - $130,000 per year, dependent upon experience.

What you will do

• Perform technical failure and data analyses using 8D method for root cause identification.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary and international teams to implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Conduct on-site field analyses, technical evaluations, and provide consultations.
• Create detailed failure descriptions and advise headquarters and other functions.
• Monitor and evaluate corrective actions by service teams or suppliers.
• Travel to Rocklin offices, customer sites, and tradeshows as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's in engineering or electrical engineering (Master's preferred).
• Minimum 7 years in R&D, technical failure analysis, quality management, and customer relations.
• Technical expertise in medium voltage systems, transformer switchgear, electrical systems, converters, and hermetically sealed equipment.
• Expertise in 8D method, 5-Why, Ishikawa diagramming, and Pareto analysis.
• Experience in solar, automotive, aerospace, electronics, or regulated industries.
• Proficiency in English (written and verbal) required; ability to travel regularly.

Nice to have

• Working knowledge of JIRA, Salesforce, SAP, and CRM.
• Background with companies like ABB, GE, Magnatec, Powin, or Eaton Transformers.
• Proficiency in German.
