TL;DR
Director, Sales Planning & Incentive Compensation (FinTech): Own sales planning, quota setting, and incentive compensation design across revenue teams with an accent on aligning seller behavior with business objectives and scaling for rapid growth. Focus on building compensation architecture, financial modeling, payout optimization, forecasting, and cross-functional stakeholder management to drive GTM execution.
Location: Hybrid with 3 days/week onsite in New York HQ (NY/NJ), 2 days/week in SF or Salt Lake City offices; relocation assistance available for candidates outside these areas. U.S. locations only with geographic pay differential.
Salary: $216,000–$270,000 base (NYC/SF); adjusted for other U.S. locations based on cost of labor.

What you will do
- Design, implement, and manage compensation plans, quotas, and forecasting for all revenue teams.
- Partner with HR, Finance, Sales Leadership, RevOps, and stakeholders to align incentives with GTM strategy.
- Build and lead the sales planning and compensation team.
- Conduct analytics, reporting, and optimization of payout structures for fairness, transparency, and compliance.
- Drive cross-functional leadership to scale processes in a high-growth environment.
Requirements
- 7–12+ years in sales compensation, planning, finance, or related, with track record managing plans across teams.
- Deep analytical skills: financial modeling, forecasting, quota-setting, payout modeling, large datasets.
- Strong business acumen to tie compensation to sales behavior and company goals.
- Excellent cross-functional collaboration with HR, Finance, Sales, RevOps.
- Adaptability in fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Bachelor’s in Business, Finance, Economics, HR, or related.
