TL;DR
Therapy Development Specialist (VTE): Drive downstream execution for U.S. marketing and VTE education initiatives within a target region with an accent on creating cross-functional coalitions, managing multi-state geography, and optimizing care paths. Focus on developing and executing education strategies, identifying KOLs, and executing regional events to raise therapy awareness.
Location: Dallas, TX / Memphis, TN. Must reside in the DFW Metroplex. Business travel 80% or more (US), with overnight stays 35%-50%.
Annual Base Salary: $100,000 to $155,000

What you will do
- Act as regional VTE care path expert, driving education and optimization across teams and stakeholders including physicians, administration, and staff.
- Develop and execute education and clinical care path strategies, including innovative field programs and account initiatives.
- Identify and develop KOLs, organize regional tradeshows, conferences, and meetings to boost product and therapy awareness.
- Collaborate with field sales leaders, represent marketing in sales regions, and incorporate clinical data into messaging.
- Assist with local PR, gather patient and clinician insights, foster relationships with key customers, and analyze regional activities.
- Promote brand, collect competitive intelligence, and adhere to quality management systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years in program development, quality initiatives, and LEAN Sigma in hospital or medical device field.
- BSN/RN experience as PERT, VTE/Stroke Coordinator, or in ED, ICU, Pulmonology preferred.
- 3+ years in program development, clinical quality improvement, B2B or field marketing.
- Experience developing strategic customer initiatives; strong clinical background and decision-making.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills; ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Willingness to travel extensively (80%+), valid driver’s license, and ability to work irregular hours.
