Location: Remote with quarterly trips to Arden Hills, Minnesota. Local candidates a plus but not required.
Salary: $180,000–$230,000 annually

What you will do
- Lead clinical operations strategy across all phases of clinical development, overseeing timelines, budgets, and resource planning.
- Drive efficient site activation, including identification, feasibility, qualification, contracts, and start-up processes.
- Develop data-driven patient recruitment strategies, partnering with sites, CROs, and vendors to optimize enrollment and retention.
- Manage CROs and vendors through governance, performance metrics, and continuous improvement.
- Build and mentor clinical operations team, fostering quality, urgency, and accountability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to align on clinical program goals and ensure regulatory compliance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or related field required; advanced degree (MS, MPH, PhD) preferred.
- 12+ years in Clinical Operations, with 5+ years in leadership role in medical devices or regulated environment.
- Demonstrated success in multi-center clinical trials, emphasizing site activation and patient recruitment.
- Proven CRO, vendor, and cross-functional team management.
- Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
- Experience in fast-paced, growth-stage or startup environment strongly preferred.
