TL;DR

HR Business Partner (Medtech): Acting as a strategic partner to business leaders to align HR initiatives with business goals with an accent on employee relations, performance management, and organizational design. Focus on coaching senior leadership, resolving complex employee relation issues, and optimizing workforce planning in a regulated industry.

Location: Onsite in Roseville, CA

Salary: $85,000 – $125,000

What you will do

  • Act as a strategic advisor to business leaders, developing HR strategies that align with company vision and goals.
  • Coach managers on performance management, employee relations, and the interpretation of HR policies.
  • Collaborate on compensation and workforce planning, including reviewing job descriptions and organizational structure.
  • Partner with Legal and HR Operations to ensure strict compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Analyze HR metrics to provide insights on employee engagement, performance, and productivity trends.
  • Drive initiatives related to talent acquisition, retention, DEI&B, and succession planning.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience, including 2+ years as an HR Business Partner or in an HR leadership role.
  • Must be able to work onsite in Roseville, CA.
  • In-depth knowledge of US federal, state, and local HR laws and regulations.
  • Significant hands-on experience working with HRIS systems.
  • Strong conflict resolution and coaching skills for managing complex employee relations issues.

Nice to have

  • Experience in medical device, pharmaceutical, or biotech industries.
  • SHRM or HRCI certification.
