TL;DR

Chief of Staff: Partner with CEO and COO to optimize executive operations, drive cross-team communication, and track projects and priorities with an accent on workflows, information flow, and process improvements. Focus on enabling leadership efficiency, handling confidential support, and delivering measurable outcomes like calendar optimization and task execution.

Location: Hybrid role Vancouver-based (or Montreal), Canada

Salary: $85K–$110K CAD DOE + performance bonus + equity

What you will do

  • Own executive calendars, inboxes, and workflows to maximize focus on high-leverage priorities.
  • Drive cross-team communication by capturing action items in ClickUp and ensuring follow-through.
  • Track projects, flag risks, and hold teams accountable to deadlines.
  • Prepare briefing notes, agendas, and updates for outcome-driven meetings.
  • Improve processes by designing better systems, tools, and templates.
  • Manage logistics like travel, events, investor/board reporting, and confidential matters.

Requirements

  • 5+ years supporting C-level executives in fast-paced, high-growth environments
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills
  • Advanced proficiency with G-Suite, Slack, and project tools (ClickUp/Asana)
  • Sharp business acumen to turn vision into execution
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Proven discretion with sensitive information

Nice to have

  • Background in e-commerce, private equity, or high-growth consumer brands
  • Familiarity with financial reporting and KPI dashboards
  • Bilingual (English + Spanish or French)
  • Growth-stage or startup experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, or related
