What you will do

• Lead structural and thermal analysis across hardware and spacecraft systems, defining modeling, verification, and analysis approaches.
• Solve complex multi-physics problems and demonstrate margins for thermal, vibration, and static requirements.
• Provide day-to-day team coordination, technical guidance, performance feedback, and mentorship.
• Collaborate with design, electrical, RF, systems, AIT, and program teams to integrate structural and thermal considerations.
• Drive development of analysis methods, tools, workflows, and standards for consistency and scalability.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 8+ years in structural and/or thermal analysis.
• Deep expertise with FEA tools like NASTRAN or Simcenter.
• Strong understanding of spacecraft structural and thermal environments.
• Experience correlating analysis with tests (vibration, thermal, etc.).
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical direction in a specialized domain.

Nice to have

• Experience with spacecraft-level analysis and qualification.
• Familiarity with ESA ECSS or NASA standards.
• Experience supporting unit-level and system-level development.
• Experience defining or managing simulation toolchains.
