What you will do

• Lead legal work for domestic and international corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and subsidiary management.
• Collaborate with executives across legal, tax, HR, treasury, and finance departments.
• Build organizational structures, playbooks, and internal legal processes.
• Partner with compliance professionals on AML, KYC/UBO, and other regulatory matters.
• Support corporate development activities, including M&A and strategic partnerships.
• Provide innovative legal solutions to increase business optionality for stakeholders.

Requirements

• JD from a well-regarded law school and membership in good standing in a US state bar.
• Must be based in the United States.
• 6+ years of overall corporate law experience (mix of in-house and law firm).
• 3+ years of dedicated experience in board governance and statutory obligations.
• Experience in a regulated industry or a high-growth technology company.
• Strong analytical, writing, and executive communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with multi-jurisdictional subsidiary governance.
• Experience in banking, payments, crypto, or fintech.
• History of interacting with domestic and international regulators.
• Background in both in-house and law firm environments.
