TL;DR

Senior Manager, Crypto Compliance (Web3): Overseeing the compliance program for hirify.global’s Bitstamp BVI entity with an accent on AML, regulatory governance, and risk management. Focus on developing scalable compliance processes, interpreting BVI regulatory requirements, and managing regulatory relationships.

Location: Hybrid (Menlo Park, CA or New York, NY) - In-person attendance expected at least 3 days per week

Salary: $170,000 - $200,000 (Base pay for Zone 1)

What you will do

  • Serve as the designated Chief Compliance Officer for Bitstamp BVI, managing the entity's compliance program.
  • Provide guidance and report on compliance performance, risks, and key metrics to senior management and the BVI Board.
  • Interpret regulatory requirements and advise internal teams on practical implementation.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain policies, procedures, and controls to meet regulatory standards.
  • Improve operational processes by identifying inefficiencies and introducing automation.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in financial crimes compliance within a regulated financial services environment.
  • Prior experience in an AML compliance role in the cryptocurrency or blockchain technology sector is a must.
  • Experience working with regulators, including familiarity with the BVI Financial Services Commission.
  • CAMS certification.
  • Solid understanding of cryptocurrency markets and blockchain technology.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to have

  • JD (Juris Doctor) degree.
