TL;DR

Territory Sales Representative (CPG/Beverage): Lead retail expansion and manage high-volume territory for kratom-based energy products with an accent on opening new accounts, in-store execution, and driving sell-in/sell-through. Focus on building retailer relationships, activating demos and sampling, and tracking performance metrics to dominate shelf space.

Location: Remote (Kansas City, Missouri, US) – requires daily field presence in territory, lifting 40-lb cases, and active routes

What you will do

  • Lead retail expansion by opening high-volume new accounts weekly.
  • Build partnerships with wholesalers, distributors, and B2B operators.
  • Drive sell-in, manage direct store shipments, and execute in-store displays and inventory.
  • Develop relationships with store owners and clerks to secure reorders.
  • Manage personal inventory, deliveries, and territory logistics.
  • Track daily metrics in mobile CRM and activate territory with demos and sampling.
  • Ensure compliance with kratom and state regulations.

Requirements

  • Must be physically capable of lifting 40-lb cases and active field work all day in Kansas City, Missouri territory
  • Proven sales record in DSD, route, or field selling (beverage, CPG, energy, tobacco).
  • Experience in high-volume door acquisition and territory growth.
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills with retailers/distributors.
  • Organized, self-directed with mobile CRM and performance tracking comfort.
  • Comfortable as 1099 independent contractor
  • High school diploma or GED.
