What you will do

• Design and architect resilient enterprise network configurations and technical standards.
• Ensure maximum uptime through proactive monitoring, troubleshooting, and strategic upgrades.
• Administer Palo Alto firewall environments and enforce IT security and access control policies.
• Serve as the senior escalation point for 24/7/365 operations and provide support to on-site engineers.
• Configure routing, switching, hosted IP voice services, and lead on-site network assessments at hospitals.
• Mentor junior staff and maintain detailed documentation of system implementations.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in Austin, Texas, United States
• 3–5+ years of experience managing complex Enterprise Network Environments.
• In-depth expertise with Palo Alto firewalls (configuration and security policy).
• Strong background in wireless network design and complex troubleshooting.
• Proven ability to lead technical projects and mentor team members.

Nice to have

• Experience with Ubiquiti/UniFi, Cradlepoint, and NetCloud Manager.
• Proficiency with WiFi Survey tools (e.g., Ekahau), RADIUS, DNS, and MDM solutions.
• Knowledge of LTE/5G RF technologies and failover configurations.
• Proficiency in Linux environments.
• PCNSA/PCNSE, CCNA/CCNP, or equivalent certifications.
• Experience working in a high-growth startup environment.
