Sr. Network Engineer

What you will do

• Design and implement complex network solutions to meet business requirements.
• Manage and maintain network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
• Troubleshoot network issues and provide timely resolution to ensure minimal downtime.
• Monitor network performance and security, implementing necessary improvements and optimizations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute network upgrades and expansions.
• Mentor junior network engineers and provide technical guidance.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States.
• 7+ years of work experience as a network engineer.
• Hands-on experience in a multi-vendor environment including Cisco Nexus and Palo Alto devices.
• Strong working knowledge of next-generation firewalls, deployment strategies, and network security best practices.
• Experience with peering from on-prem networking to public cloud providers.
• Strong experience with scripting languages like Python, Ansible, and shell scripting.

Nice to have

• Current Cisco CCNP certification.
• Experience with Linux.
• Deep understanding of BGP, EVPN, VXLAN, and DDoS mitigation techniques.
