What you will do

• Serve as the regional point of contact for complex network issues and escalations across CONUS facilities.
• Perform expert-level troubleshooting for LAN/WLAN/WAN problems.
• Lead technology evaluation initiatives and develop requirements for data, voice, and video infrastructure.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to Referral Engineers and Network Specialists.
• Coordinate with the DHA Network Modernization Team on infrastructure upgrades.
• Ensure strict compliance with DHA network standards and Zero Trust Architecture principles.

Requirements

• Active Department of Defense Secret level security clearance required.
• DoD Approved 8570 / 8140 OS and Cybersecurity certifications required.
• Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) and Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) required.
• 10-14 years of relevant technical experience in enterprise environments.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent technical certification.
• Mastery of TCP/IP, routing protocols (EIGRP, BGP, OSPF), and Cisco IOS/IOS-XE.

Nice to have

• CCIE (Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert) certification.
• Experience with DoD Healthcare Information Systems.
