What you will do
- Lead a small team of testers to meet project deadlines and balance resources across functional areas and releases.
- Plan web and IVR test efforts, develop test plans, cases, and scripts based on design documents.
- Identify testing needs, automation opportunities, and configure automation scripts.
- Work with Microsoft TFS for test management, reporting, execution, and training others.
- Conduct test review meetings with clients and staff, present status to managers, and foster a productive team environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT Management, or related field.
- Minimum 4 years planning, executing, and reporting test efforts.
- Minimum 4 years writing test cases and scripts for web applications.
- Experience with QA strategies, best practices for web testing, and SQL queries for test data.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills for leading client meetings and interacting with diverse groups.
Nice to have
- Previous State of California government testing experience.
- Experience with Microsoft Team Foundation Server, Azure DevOps, Test Manager, or Azure Test Plans.
- Experience with IVR (Interactive Voice Response) testing.
