Senior Director, Business Development (Fintech): Driving expansion into new industry verticals by originating and closing complex platform partnerships with an accent on GTM strategy and scalable distribution. Location: Must be based in the US. Hybrid in San Francisco, New York City, or Salt Lake City (2-3 days/week) or remote for other US locations.
Salary: $280,000 - $360,000 USD (for Tier 1 markets NYC/SF)

What you will do
- Identify and originate new partnership opportunities in verticals such as insurance, utilities, telecom, auto, and healthcare.
- Structure and close complex, first-of-kind platform deals that drive significant growth.
- Develop and execute market entry and GTM strategies for new industry verticals.
- Collaborate with GTM and Sales leadership to drive measurable adoption and revenue scale.
- Feed market insights back to the Product team to influence platform evolution.
Requirements
- 10+ years in business development, strategic partnerships, or enterprise sales within FinTech, Payments, or SaaS.
- Proven success in origination-heavy roles, personally sourcing and closing complex deals.
- Experience working with aggregators or one-to-many distribution platform models.
- Full-cycle deal ownership from outbound prospecting through contracting and scaling.
- Strong executive presence, commercial fluency, and negotiation expertise.
- Must have US work authorization (implied by 401k and US-specific pay zones).
