TL;DR

Salary: $200,000-$230,000 annual US base + variable component

What you will do

• Own data access strategy, negotiating agreements with financial institutions and data providers.
• Build and manage pipeline of target relationships via outbound networking and introductions.
• Co-design bank authentication and UX specs as part of integration agreements.
• Represent Method in industry consortia, advancing technical standards and protocols.
• Lead commercial negotiations on access agreements, including costs, licensing, and timelines.
• Align internal teams (Product, Legal, Engineering) and manage supporting resources.

Requirements

• Experience in financial data aggregation (Plaid, MX, Yodlee) or bank digital partnerships/open banking.
• Fluent in open banking standards: FDX, FAPI, OpenID Connect.
• MBA or equivalent; closed commercial agreements with large financial institutions.
• Technical fluency to engage bank engineering/product teams.
• Strong ownership bias for sustained efforts against institutional inertia.

Nice to have

• Network in FDX, OpenID Connect, or banking standards bodies.
• Experience with government affairs or regulatory strategy.
• Prior startup experience building teams/functions.
• Relationships at top-10 US financial institutions.
