Account Manager, Strategic Accounts (Pharma/CRO): Partnering with BD Director to secure and expand profitable new business awards in strategic accounts with an accent on identifying opportunities, developing proposals, and managing high-value B2B deals. Focus on building senior-level relationships, cross-functional collaboration, and driving revenue growth through targeted outreach and RFP activity.
Location: Remote within the United States (where is registered to do business)
Salary: $105,000–$120,000 USD

What you will do
- Partner with BD Director to increase account penetration via outreach, meetings, trade shows, and RFP/proposal activity.
- Research strategic accounts to identify new opportunities based on clinical pipelines and industry developments.
- Develop and execute strategic account plans, bid defenses, and end-to-end proposals with cross-functional teams.
- Build and maintain senior-level client relationships, demonstrating value and innovative solutions.
- Maintain accurate Salesforce records, provide reporting, and ensure proposal quality control.
- Travel to trade shows and client meetings as required.
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in health sciences or business or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in CRO, pharmaceutical, or biotech environment
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills
- Proficiency with Excel and CRM (Salesforce preferable)
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with urgency and attention to detail
- Tenacity, proactivity, and initiative in results-driven settings
Nice to have
- Knowledge of proposal, legal, and contracting processes
- Understanding of pharmaceutical/CRO industry and clinical development
- Proactive research skills using Salesforce, ClinicalTrials.gov, and industry resources
