What you will do

  • Drive business development and prospecting for rare disease treatments in the assigned territory.
  • Deliver product and disease state education to healthcare professionals (HCPs) and their staff.
  • Execute strategic account management and translate high-level strategy into actionable territory plans.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to share market insights and optimize product messaging.
  • Manage lead follow-ups and maintain accurate activity data in Veeva CRM.
  • Represent the company at HCP conferences and manage speaker programs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (science or business preferred).
  • 10+ years of pharmaceutical industry experience.
  • Proven track record of selling specialty or rare disease products in a multi-state geography.
  • Expertise in account management and virtual/remote selling.
  • Proficiency with Veeva, Salesforce, and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to undergo drug testing (including marijuana) for hospital credentialing.

Nice to have

  • Advanced degree in science or business.
  • Direct experience with biologics selling.
