Location: Remote within the United States with preference to candidates in Utah able to come into the office 1-2 days per week. Not hiring in Alaska, Delaware, Hawaii, Iowa, Louisiana, Maryland, Nebraska, North Dakota, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Vermont, West Virginia, Washington DC, Puerto Rico, or other US Territories.

Salary: $135,000 - $175,000

What you will do

• Lead and grow multiple engineering teams delivering mission-critical software to dental practices
• Oversee team leaders, influence engineering practices, and drive technical execution across the organization
• Drive clarity, accountability, and alignment through communication of goals and priorities to stakeholders
• Support hiring, onboarding, coaching, performance management, and career development
• Establish standards for software engineering, QA, and project delivery while promoting DevOps and CI/CD
• Partner with Product and UX to deliver customer-centric solutions aligned with strategic initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
• 10+ years progressive software development experience with C, C#, C++, .NET; 3+ years in people management
• Proven success leading distributed or hybrid engineering teams at scale
• Excellent knowledge of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and CI/CD practices
• Strong leadership through influence, conflict resolution, and consensus building
• Analytical strategic thinker balancing tech debt, innovation, and delivery

Nice to have

• Experience with REST APIs, Java, and AWS
