Salary: $150,000 - $200,000 base pay.

What you will do

• Design and drive implementation of complex, high-volume backend solutions for core demand flow and event-driven architectures.
• Contribute to technical roadmap by proposing and executing platform improvements to increase scalability.
• Mentor junior engineers on design decisions, best practices, and goal decomposition.
• Establish and document coding patterns and domain standards for the team.
• Conduct code reviews and troubleshoot performance, testing, and deployment issues in production.
• Partner with Product, Design, and other teams for cohesive feature delivery.

Requirements

• 8+ years in software development focused on scaling complex backend systems.
• Expert in JavaScript, TypeScript, NestJS for production-grade features at scale.
• Experience with API-driven apps, RESTful services, microservices, and Domain-Driven Design.
• Hands-on with Kafka or event-streaming for decoupled systems.
• Experience with Ruby on Rails and legacy codebases.
• Knowledge of distributed systems, event-driven architecture, and Kubernetes.
