Staff Software Engineer (Integrations)

Location: Hybrid: Must work from the office 3 days a week in one of the hub locations: San Francisco, Denver, Nashville, or Santiago.

Salary: $224,000 - $264,000 USD

What you will do

• Own the full product lifecycle from ideation and design to implementation and release.
• Drive the technical architecture of complex workflows, including OAuth flows, webhook event processing, and partner-facing APIs.
• Lead technical initiatives to enable growth at scale and address organizational technical debt.
• Provide mentorship to engineers across the organization and spread development best practices through documentation.
• Collaborate with Design, Product, and Data teams to deploy experiments and ship impactful features.
• Ensure the quality, reliability, and scalability of the integration services.

Requirements

• 10+ years of software development experience and 3+ years in a project leadership role.
• Deep expertise in backend development (e.g., Ruby, Node.js) and working proficiency in JavaScript and React.
• Experience building scalable systems with automated testing, observability, and high performance.
• Must be based in or able to relocate to a hirify.global hub (San Francisco, Denver, Nashville, or Santiago) to work 3 days a week in-office.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
