TL;DR
Director, FP&A (Web3): Own the operating model, annual plan, forecasts, and metrics frameworks for a high-growth blockchain data platform with an accent on usage-based SaaS economics, infrastructure spend, and enterprise pricing. Focus on building analytical infrastructure, partnering with leadership on capital allocation, and scaling FP&A from scratch in a fast-scaling environment.
Location: Remote from any geographical location with 2-hour overlap on NYC mornings (10am-12pm ET, Mon-Thu)

What you will do
- Own planning & forecasting including operating model, annual plan, quarterly forecasts, headcount planning, and variance analysis.
- Build and maintain SaaS metrics stack (ARR, NDR, CAC, pipeline velocity, gross margins) and KPI dashboards for company-wide decision-making.
- Partner with leadership on pricing, GTM strategy, infrastructure spend, sales comp, and financial storytelling for board and investors.
- Automate FP&A workflows, manage data room for due diligence, and ensure tight coordination with Accounting.
Requirements
- 8-12+ years in FP&A, strategic finance, or banking/operating roles, with 3-4+ years at high-growth B2B SaaS or usage-based company
- Experience building or scaling FP&A function from scratch.
- Experience using AI tools like Claude Code or similar as infrastructure.
- Excellent communication to distill complex info into actionable recommendations.
- Comfortable with NYC morning time zone overlap (10am-12pm ET, Mon-Thu)
- High agency, extreme ownership, and ability to operate in ambiguity.
