Location: Remote - US Work from Home. Must reside in one of: CA, CO, FL, GA, IL, ID, IN, MA, MD, MI, MO, NE, NC, NJ, PA, TN, TX, VA. Northern VA preferred. Flexibility across time zones required for collaboration with international partners.

What you will do

• Define enterprise architecture strategy, roadmap, and standards aligned with business goals for long-term scalability.
• Lead architectural planning and design for new features, microservices, data pipelines, integrations, and AI components.
• Establish technical governance, conduct architectural reviews, and manage technical debt.
• Ensure quality, security, compliance (SOC 2, GDPR), resiliency, and observability across infrastructure and applications.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Security, and executives to align architecture with roadmap and customer needs.
• Evaluate emerging technologies, drive innovation, and mentor senior engineers.

Requirements

• 12+ years software engineering, 5+ years senior architecture leadership in SaaS/cloud-native/CCaaS.
• Proven scaling multi-tenant distributed systems.
• Deep AWS expertise: serverless, container orchestration, event-driven, global data systems, high-availability.
• Hands-on with BI platforms like MicroStrategy: data models, dashboards, cloud pipelines.
• AI/ML familiarity: speech transcription, sentiment analysis, language understanding for CCaaS.
• Strong DevOps, CI/CD, containerization, IaC; influencing distributed teams; excellent communication.
