What you will do

• Define multiyear architecture strategy across cloud, applications, data, integrations, and AI/ML infrastructure.
• Establish principles, reference architectures, and guardrails for reliability, performance, interoperability, and compliance.
• Lead architecture forums, review proposals, and champion engineering standards.
• Partner with product, security, regulatory, and clinical teams to align designs with business and compliance needs.
• Provide oversight through SDLC, mentor leads, and drive standardization to accelerate development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Software/Systems Engineering or related; advanced degree preferred
• 15+ years in software engineering/architecture with expertise in distributed systems, cloud, and modern platforms
• Proven experience with regulated/high-reliability systems, preferably medical/health tech
• Mastery of microservices, event-driven systems, data pipelines, observability, DevOps/SRE, cloud-native tech
• Strong cross-functional influence and communication skills

Nice to have

• Experience with FDA, EU MDR, IEC 62304, HIPAA regulations
• AI/ML platform architecture and model deployment
• Integration with medical devices, EHRs, FHIR/HL7 standards
