What you will do

• Lead the end-to-end solution architecture of applications hosted in AWS, ensuring reliability and security.
• Translate business requirements into detailed technical designs and solution roadmaps.
• Design and guide the development of responsive Angular frontends and scalable Python FastAPI backends.
• Architect API strategies using RESTful and GraphQL services.
• Implement cloud-native architectures including serverless, container-based (ECS/EKS), and microservices.
• Establish and enforce Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines for streamlined deployments.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in software development and solution architecture, with 4+ years specifically in AWS architecture.
• Strong proficiency in AWS services (Lambda, API Gateway, S3, RDS/DynamoDB, ECS/EKS, CloudFormation/Terraform, IAM).
• Hands-on experience developing frontends with recent versions of Angular.
• Strong backend development skills with Python and FastAPI.
• Solid knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Must be based in the USA

Nice to have

• Experience in highly regulated industries (healthcare, financial services, government) and compliance frameworks (HIPAA, PCI, NIST, FedRAMP).
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional certification.
• Experience with AWS machine learning integration (SageMaker, Glue, Athena, EMR).
• Prior consulting experience with top-tier cloud services providers or systems integrators.
