TL;DR
Sales Engineer: Assessing potential applications of products/services and offering tailored solutions to meet customer needs in partnership with sales teams. Focus on delivering technical demonstrations, proof-of-concepts, and consultative positioning to drive adoption and pipeline generation.
Location: USA Remote. Onsite/hybrid/remote depending on location; 20-30% travel may be required.

What you will do
- Support sales teams with detailed research, analysis, and documentation.
- Present cost-benefit reports and technical training to prospective customers.
- Deliver product demonstrations, proof-of-concepts, and consultative recommendations.
- Prepare technical RFPs/RFQs and act as key contact for cross-functional teams.
- Coach team members and maintain professional knowledge through training.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent business experience; 3+ years relevant experience.
- Proven sales track record and advanced knowledge of applicable work area.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and ability to work independently or in teams.
- Experience with business processes, management applications, CPQ tools, CRM (e.g., Salesforce).
- Ability to manage projects, adapt to new technologies, and leverage resources.
Nice to have
- Consultant experience.
- Experience in channels like MDP, VAR, OE, TSP, Internal IT, MSP+.
