What you will do
- Act as main point of contact for new starters and hiring managers, managing onboarding inbox and queries.
- Create and issue contracts and offer packs, quality-check documentation for accuracy.
- Complete Right to Work, DBS, and Financial Probity checks; arrange occupational health appointments.
- Review reports, escalate concerns, and track onboarding via spreadsheets and reports.
- Manage Gov UK Apprenticeship portal, IT setups, payroll numbers, and DBS renewals.
- Attend meetings, hold account-management calls, create SOPs and FAQs, support audits.
Requirements
- Pre-existing right to work and travel within the UK; documentary evidence required
- Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
- High attention to detail, excellent administrative and organisational skills.
- Ability to prioritise workloads, work collaboratively, flexibility to learn.
- Experience with set processes, data entry, report analysis; intermediate-advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
Nice to have
- Experience in HR, recruitment, or contract management.
- Knowledge of vetting processes (Right to Work, DBS checks), handling references.
- Previous use of Zellis, ResourceLink, SmartRecruiters, Microsoft Teams.
- Experience creating/updating standard operating procedures.
