What you will do

• Manage, grow, and mentor engineers and IT specialists across Infrastructure, Security, and IT operations.
• Own and evolve AWS-based cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and Docker to support scalable applications.
• Drive the adoption of infrastructure-as-code (Terraform) and configuration management best practices.
• Lead the Security Engineering function, focusing on threat detection, incident response, and security automation.
• Maintain security posture and DevOps maturity in alignment with SOC 2, HITRUST, and HIPAA requirements.
• Oversee IT help desk operations, ensuring reliable SLAs and secure onboarding/offboarding workflows.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in Infrastructure, DevOps, or Security Engineering, including 3+ years of people management.
• Hands-on experience operating secure, cloud-based infrastructure (AWS strongly preferred) and modern DevOps practices.
• Experience with security frameworks and certifications such as HITRUST, SOC 2, HIPAA, NIST, and/or ISO.
• Strong technical background with programming/scripting languages such as Python, Bash, Golang, or Ruby.
• Familiarity with authentication technologies (SSO/SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect) and Zero Trust concepts.
• BS in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to have

• Relevant certifications such as AWS Security Specialty, CISSP, Security+, AWS Cloud Practitioner, or Azure Fundamentals.
