What you will do
- Prototype new firmware concepts and develop features for medical devices.
- Perform unit testing, issue investigations, and code maintenance.
- Conduct peer code reviews and maintain documentation.
- Interact with microprocessor hardware including digital I/O, timers, ADCs, UARTs, and low power modes.
- Debug software in embedded environments using tools like oscilloscopes and multimeters.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field
- Proficient in C
- At least 3 years of work experience, ideally in regulated environment (FDA preferred)
- Experience with embedded software debugging and hardware control
- Comfortable reading hardware datasheets and using lab equipment
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with git and version control
Nice to have
- Familiarity with BLE chipsets (Nordic, TI)
- Real-time event frameworks like QP
- AT-commands for LTE modules
- Low-power microcontroller design
- MISRA or other coding standards
