What you will do

• Serve as technical leader for medical device firmware development and engineering team
• Design, code, unit test, and debug embedded applications in C/C++ for bare metal/RTOS
• Integrate firmware with microcontrollers (ARM, PIC32), DSPs, and peripherals (SPI, I2C, UART, USB)
• Implement wireless technologies including BLE, Wi-Fi, GNSS, and Cellular
• Conduct code reviews, apply secure coding standards, and participate in verification activities
• Deliver design documentation, assist in QA procedures, and handle PCB bring-up

Requirements

• BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics or equivalent
• 8+ years experience including minimum 4 years with medical devices
• Experience reading schematics, using EE lab equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers), and system debugging
• Solid understanding of UML, systems thinking, and modern software practices
• Extensive experience with Git and Jira
• Experience in FDA regulated environment applying IEC 62304

Nice to have

• Proven firmware engineering in C/C++
• Experience with Bare Metal, RTOS, Linux
• Python or scripting languages
• Cybersecurity concepts and practices
• Test-driven development, Agile/Scrum
• Experience as EE
