Salary: $97,000 – $127,000 per year

What you will do

  • Own the development of embedded software and firmware for proof-of-concept devices and prototypes.
  • Design and prototype electro-mechanical systems for novel medical devices.
  • Perform system, device, and component-level tests for design exploration and validation.
  • Create detailed software and firmware functional specifications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support products through pre- and post-production release.

Requirements

  • BS in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience developing prototype firmware for hardware (PCB, Arduino, Raspberry Pi, etc.).
  • Proficiency in C or C++; Python is preferred.
  • Experience with microcontrollers (STM32, ARM Cortex M4/M7), RTOS, or bare-metal development.
  • Knowledge of communication protocols (SPI, UART, I2C, CAN, USB).

Nice to have

  • Experience with board bring-up, logic analyzers, and oscilloscopes.
  • Knowledge of connectivity standards like BLE, Bluetooth, NFC, or NFMI.
  • 1+ years of professional experience.
