What you will do

• Lead strategic growth in California and emerging markets like Southeast and Texas, overseeing regional offices.
• Guide Business Development team to align priorities with organizational mission and growth.
• Identify programs, partnerships, and policies to accelerate transportation electrification regionally.
• Develop strategies based on regional regulatory, infrastructure, and market conditions.
• Serve as thought partner to CEO and executives, driving collaboration across teams.
• Represent organization in forums, build partnerships with agencies, utilities, fleets, and manufacturers.
• Lead large-scale programs for technology commercialization and market adoption.

Requirements

• 15+ years experience in transportation, clean energy, advanced vehicles, or environmental policy
• Strong relationships with California government agencies, officials, and stakeholders
• Bachelor's degree in environmental science, public policy, business, or related field
• Proven business development and regional growth leadership
• Experience with government-funded programs, complex partnerships, and multi-stakeholder management
• Deep knowledge of California's clean transportation policy (e.g., CARB, CEC)
• Willingness to travel within regions
• Strong communication, initiative, and project management skills
