What you will do

• Partner with CEO to set and execute comprehensive fundraising strategy, securing multi-year grants.
• Cultivate relationships with funders and provide oversight for grant compliance.
• Lead external engagement and thought leadership to advance evidence-based practices.
• Set strategic direction for communications, PR, and brand management across platforms.
• Build and lead high-performing team in development, communications, and strategy.
• Foster inclusive culture and cross-departmental collaboration.

Requirements

• 10+ years in senior leadership/executive roles
• Prior experience in public affairs, communications, and/or donor relations
• Prior experience in K12 policy, nonprofit management, and/or philanthropy
• Advance equity and student success vision with DEI integration
• Strong communication, leadership, and execution under complexity
• Approximately 20% travel
