Location: Remote, CA
Salary: $105,630 - $120,260 a year

What you will do
- Lead execution of non-incentive clean transportation projects, managing scopes, schedules, budgets, risks, and dependencies across grid integration, utility engagement, market development, and infrastructure planning.
- Supervise and develop 3-4 staff including project managers and technical team members through coaching, performance feedback, and professional development.
- Translate portfolio strategy into executable project plans and roadmaps in collaboration with Senior Director.
- Integrate cross-functionally with policy, technical, and market teams to ensure alignment and high-quality delivery.
- Track milestones, KPIs, and outcomes; identify risks and implement process improvements for delivery excellence.
- Engage stakeholders, represent , and support business development through proposals and partnerships.
Requirements
- 7–10 years of progressive experience in clean transportation, energy, utilities, infrastructure development, or related fields
- Bachelor’s degree in business management, engineering, environmental science, public policy, energy, transportation, or related discipline
- Demonstrated success managing complex projects or programs with multiple stakeholders
- Direct experience with non-incentive zero-emission transportation initiatives including infrastructure planning, utility engagement, grid projects, or corridor development
- Formal people-management experience including coaching and staff development
- Strong project management skills, communication, stakeholder management, and familiarity with tools like Monday.com
Nice to have
- Master's degree in relevant field
- PMP certification or formal training in project/leadership
- Experience with utility planning, regulatory proceedings, or grid modernization
- Business development in consulting/nonprofit/public sector
- Familiarity with clean transportation policies and market trends
- Ability to travel 10-20% and adjust schedules for other time zones
