• Author a daily hirify.global newsletter featuring key insights and scoops for D.C. audience
• Command local market knowledge and build sources to inform readers about their community
• Help build hirify.global Local and shape product evolution
• Collaborate across teams to create impactful stories across platforms (online, video, broadcast, podcast)
• Connect local, national, and global developments shaping readers' lives

Requirements

• Experience covering news in D.C.
• Excellent sources and ability to develop new ones
• Strong reporting skills in fast-paced environment and on deadline
• Ability to decipher data, break news, and create conceptual scoops
• Deep knowledge of D.C. market (politics, business, social issues) and broader local/national news
• Dedication to Smart Brevity writing style
• AI literacy to enhance productivity
