Location: Hybrid role based in the Northern Virginia area (Arlington, Virginia)

What you will do

  • Lead full-cycle recruiting and build candidate pipelines for critical roles
  • Oversee onboarding, offboarding, performance management, and employee engagement initiatives
  • Manage HR operations, compliance with employment laws, and HRIS systems
  • Administer payroll, benefits programs, and vendor relationships
  • Handle employee relations, provide leadership support on performance and conflicts
  • Support business operations including 401(k) and SOC 2 audits, expense management, and compliance tracking

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field preferred
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in HR and/or operations
  • Experience in multi-entity, high-growth environments strongly preferred
  • Strong knowledge of employment law, HR best practices, and compliance
  • Proficiency with HRIS, payroll platforms, and operational tools
  • Proven recruiting and talent acquisition skills
  • Exceptional communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities

Nice to have

  • Experience in professional services, financial services, or technology organizations
  • Familiarity with federal contracting and SAM.gov compliance
  • Experience supporting audits (SOC 2, 401k)
  • HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP/SCP)
