What you will do
- Support recruitment by posting jobs, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
- Handle onboarding/offboarding including offer letters, compliance docs (I-9, E-Verify), and exit processes.
- Maintain HRIS data (BambooHR, ADP, Gusto), track PTO/benefits, and generate reports.
- Coordinate payroll validation, benefits enrollment, and employee inquiries.
- Draft/update HR policies and ensure compliance with U.S. laws (FMLA, FLSA, ADA, EEOC).
- Act as point of contact for employee relations, performance support, and training coordination.
Requirements
- 2+ years HR support or operations experience
- Proficiency with HRIS systems (BambooHR, ADP, Gusto, Zenefits or similar)
- Familiarity with U.S. labor law compliance
- Microsoft Office/Google Workspace proficiency
- Organized, detail-oriented with strong process management and communication skills
Nice to have
- SHRM-CP, PHR or similar HR certification
- Experience with multi-state or international payroll/compliance
- Industry exposure in SaaS, professional services, or high-growth startups
- Process improvement or HRIS implementation experience
