Salary: $90,000 - $110,000 USD per year

What you will do
- Support end-to-end payroll processing across multiple states and countries using Remote.
- Process payroll changes, including new hires, compensation updates, terminations, and bonuses.
- Administer employee benefits programs such as health, dental, vision, and 401(k).
- Manage contractor lifecycle operations, including SOWs, onboarding, and invoice schedules.
- Coordinate offboarding processes and maintain internal documentation for process improvements.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee questions regarding payroll and benefits.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in payroll or benefits, ideally within a high-growth or distributed company.
- Strong understanding of payroll fundamentals, including taxes, deductions, and compliance basics.
- Experience with payroll systems and HRIS tools (Remote.com experience is a plus).
- Advanced spreadsheet skills (e.g., lookups) and high attention to detail.
- English: C2 (Native or near-native) proficiency required for asynchronous collaboration.
Nice to have
- Experience in a remote-first or distributed company.
- Familiarity with multi-state payroll requirements in the U.S.
- Exposure to benefits compliance (ACA, COBRA, etc.).
