TL;DR
Commercial Account Executive (SaaS): Generate, advance, and close opportunities with small to medium-sized prospects ($30,000-$100,000+ ACV) with an accent on consultative sales process partnering with GTM team to engage developers and business leaders. Focus on exceeding $825k annual quota, developing account and pipeline strategy, and iterating sales playbook as an early-stage hire.
Location: Fully remote, San Francisco / Bay Area, CA preferred. Open to candidates in multiple locations. Compensation may vary by country and local market.
Salary: $175,000 – $200,000 USD OTE (base + commission), plus equity and benefits.

What you will do
- Generate, advance, and close opportunities with Commercial customers to exceed $825k annual quota
- Lead consultative sales as trusted advisor to developers, designers, and digital leaders
- Develop account and pipeline strategy, manage processes, and create sales proposals
- Collaborate with Sales Engineers to uncover technical challenges and map to solutions
- Bring creativity to iterate and improve the sales playbook in early-stage environment
Requirements
- 4+ years B2B SaaS Sales experience with strong attainment track record
- 2+ years selling complex technical software to teams with developers as stakeholders, quota-carrying
- Desire to learn and grow continuously
- Previous experience in startup or fast-paced organization
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Able to travel up to 25%
Nice to have
- Experience selling CMS or deep knowledge of front-end development
