What you will do

  • Manage core accounting workflows including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and revenue processes in accordance with GAAP.
  • Execute key components of the month-end close process and maintain accurate general ledger activity.
  • Support financial audits and tax compliance by preparing documentation and schedules.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure accounting processes scale effectively with business growth.
  • Leverage AI, automation, and modern finance tools to improve workflow efficiency and reduce manual work.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of accounting experience in a SaaS company, startup, public accounting firm, or consulting environment.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP fundamentals.
  • Experience with general ledger systems, specifically QuickBooks Online (QBO).
  • Proven experience managing invoicing, bill pay, collections, and expense workflows.
  • Must be based in the United States.
  • Demonstrated interest or experience in using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude) to optimize professional workflows.
