What you will do
- Own and execute key components of the monthly revenue close process to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Manage complex revenue workflows, including ramped contracts and usage-based revenue.
- Serve as the UAT lead for automation and systems initiatives impacting revenue accounting.
- Perform detailed variance and flux analysis to identify key drivers and investigate discrepancies.
- Build and maintain controls around automated processes to ensure data integrity and audit readiness.
- Partner with Finance Systems and Data teams to enhance revenue systems, data flows, and reporting.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred.
- 5+ years of accounting experience, ideally within a SaaS environment.
- Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and foundational knowledge of ASC 606.
- Experience with NetSuite (NetSuite ARM experience is a plus).
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States is required.
- Must be based in the San Francisco Bay Area to comply with a hybrid schedule (at least 3 days per week in office).
Nice to have
- Familiarity with Stripe, Salesforce (SFDC), and Snowflake.
- Experience with usage-based revenue models.
- Excitement and experience in leveraging AI tools to improve accounting workflows.
