TL;DR
Sales Engineer (Cybersecurity): Articulate benefits of security solutions, scope and architect solutions for customer needs, and lead Proof of Concept engagements with an accent on web proxy technologies, malware analysis, and network security. Focus on mapping business drivers to solutions, resolving technical issues, and enabling partner self-sufficiency.
Location: Overnight travel throughout the region is required

What you will do
- Articulate benefits of solutions to technical and non-technical audiences and architect solutions meeting customer needs.
- Map customer business drivers to Menlo solutions within budget constraints.
- Lead Proof of Concept deployments, configurations, training, and issue resolution.
- Provide reporting and feedback to Sales, Product Management, and Engineering.
- Collaborate with partners to enable self-sufficiency and drive opportunities.
- Expand customer implementations and integrations.
Requirements
- Bachelor or Masters in Computer Science or equivalent
- 5+ years pre-sales experience in networking or security
- Excellent knowledge of IT technologies and security solutions including Web Proxy, Malware Analysis, Host-based Forensics, Network Forensics, Email Security, Incident Response, Sandboxing, Network Engineering, Network Security, Enterprise Architecture, and Virtualization
- Overnight travel throughout the region required

- Strong leadership to prioritize and execute tasks, manage expectations.
- Exceptional communication skills for business and technical articulation.
- Knowledge of competitors, hacking tools, malware families, evasion techniques.
