Lead Software Engineer, Azure Solutions

Location: Remote, Austin, TX / United States

Salary: $170,000–$200,000 per year, plus eligibility for an annual incentive program.

What you will do

• Lead medium-scale requirements elicitation, solution design, scoping, estimation, and technical delivery for client engagements.
• Decompose requirements into tasks, delegate work across multi-workstream projects, and monitor delivery progress.
• Provide Azure solution architecture, technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance on DevOps and Agile methodologies.
• Identify project risks and technical problems, develop mitigation approaches, and communicate them with project and client stakeholders.
• Advise clients on technical concepts, design implications, solution options, and business-focused presentations.
• Support sales and delivery teams with client proposals and opportunities to extend existing engagements.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience with Agile delivery and leading consulting projects for large clients.
• Expertise in at least three relevant areas, including Azure Compute, data stores, messaging and events, API design, integration, AI and search, DevOps, scalability, identity, monitoring, or technical leadership.
• Expertise in at least four relevant technologies or practices, including architectural patterns, .NET Core, C#, frontend tools, Entity Framework or Dapper, data storage, CI/CD, IaC, Git, automated testing, or Scrum/Kanban.
• Experience contributing to user stories and backlog content, including task management and progress visibility.
• Four or more Microsoft Azure application development, DevOps, AI and machine learning, or architecture and development certifications; AZ-204, AZ-102, and AZ-400 are highly recommended.
• Strong ability to present technical concepts to clients in a business-focused, impactful, and persuasive manner.
