Lead Optimizely Solutions Architect (AI)

Location: Canada — Remote

Salary: CAD 110,000–160,000 annually, depending on experience and location.

What you will do

• Design enterprise-grade Optimizely solutions across content management, personalization, analytics, commerce, and digital experience platforms.
• Define scalable headless and hybrid architectures, integrations, data collection strategies, and analytics solutions.
• Lead technical discovery, feasibility assessments, documentation, proof-of-concepts, implementation decisions, and delivery across multiple projects.
• Design AI-enabled experiences and workflows using Optimizely Opal, LLM services, agents, and emerging AI technologies.
• Advise enterprise clients on technology roadmaps, modernization, MarTech ecosystems, architecture tradeoffs, and business value.
• Support practice growth through pre-sales, estimation, proposal development, mentoring, and management of a small team of direct reports.

Requirements

• 10+ years of enterprise web development experience, including at least 5 years in a Solution Architect, Technical Architect, or similar leadership role.
• Deep expertise with Optimizely CMS, including multiple enterprise implementations delivered as the lead architect.
• Strong .NET, C#, ASP.NET Core, MVC, Optimizely APIs, Optimizely Graph, and/or Content Delivery API experience.
• Experience with React or Next.js, content modeling, personalization, multisite and multilingual implementations, and enterprise platform integrations.
• Experience delivering AI capabilities in production, including LLM integrations, agents, and retrieval-augmented generation solutions.
• Experience with Optimizely DXP, Azure, CI/CD, Git-based workflows, estimation, pre-sales, stakeholder management, and team leadership.

Nice to have

• Experience with Optimizely Commerce, CMP, Web Experimentation, Feature Experimentation, or Opal.
• Experience with composable or MACH-inspired architectures and additional headless CMS platforms such as Contentful or Contentstack.
• Experience with agent frameworks, vector databases, or Model Context Protocol.
• Optimizely, cloud architecture, or AI-related certifications.
