Senior Azure Cloud Engineer

What you will do

• Design, deploy, and manage scalable production services in Microsoft Azure.
• Build and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform, PowerShell, and Azure DevOps.
• Implement CI/CD automation, high availability, monitoring, security, and cost optimisation.
• Design and troubleshoot greenfield cloud platforms and brownfield application and infrastructure environments.
• Evaluate emerging cloud technologies and vendor products, including AI models and agent implementations using Microsoft Foundry.
• Collaborate with clients, application developers, and third parties while mentoring and upskilling colleagues.

Requirements

• Senior-level experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, or platform engineering.
• Production experience with Azure service delivery, architecture, infrastructure provisioning, CI/CD, security, monitoring, and cost optimisation.
• Strong knowledge of Azure networking, including Azure Firewall, ExpressRoute, DNS Zones, VNets, routing, peering, Front Door, and API Management.
• Experience with Azure App Services, Function Apps, public and on-premises networking, firewalls, public DNS, and certificate authorities.
• Experience managing Azure resources with Terraform and Azure DevOps pipelines, including integration with legacy systems such as Active Directory, DNS, SQL Server, and Windows Server.
• Experience leading technical teams and working in continuous integration or continuous delivery environments.
